My name is Christine. I'm a United States citizen, a taxpayer, a parent, a woman, a Christian, a health care consumer, and a small business owner.
I enjoy breathing clean air and drinking clean water. I expect our elected leaders to act like grown ups. I love my country. I want a positive future for my daughter and all young people.
Oh, and I like cats, red wine, and Ethiopian food.
After the presidential election, I was exhausted from waking up in the middle of night worrying about what was going on in our country. I needed to do something. So I decided to make a trip to The White House once a month to make my voice heard. Not only did I want to feel better about what I was doing, I figured it would be a great opportunity for others to make their voices heard as well.
This is not sponsored by an organization, nor am I being paid to make this journey. I'm a mom with a sign and a really amazing family who supports my activism 100%. (Photo Credit: Tony Kazmierski)

Follow Meet Up Speak Out on Facebook to check out videos from each visit. I look forward to continuing to exercise our First Amendment right to peaceably assemble, so come join me. Come out for a few minutes, for lunch hour or the whole day - whatever works for you! Please read the FAQs below.
